Novel Bio was looking for a fresh, standout identity in the plasmid DNA space—something bold, vibrant, and completely unique. They would also need a full brand toolkit to get started with the new look.​

My Role
I explored several distinct visual brand worlds, each pushing the boundaries of what a biotech company could look like. Once we locked in the right direction, I expanded it into a full brand system—building out a detailed guide and real-world applications to ensure they had everything needed to bring their new look to life.

Challenges
One major challenge was pushing the boundaries of what’s typically seen in the biotech space. This kind of industry often leans toward sterile, clinical aesthetics, so breaking away from that while still maintaining credibility put us in uncharted territory.

Results
The final result was a toolkit that set them apart in their industry while staying true to their vision of being bright, unique, and unmistakably Novel Bio.
